Horomone Therapy in New Orleans, LA

Testosterone is the primary male sex hormone and an anabolic steroid. In men, testosterone plays a key role in the development of male reproductive tissues such as the testes and prostate, as well as promoting secondary sexual characteristics such as increased muscle and bone mass and the growth of body hair.
Low Testosterone or Low T, can lead to reduced muscle mass, which in turn can contribute to dangerous weight gain. Low levels can also lead to irritability, loss of memory, and concentration – all negative stereotypes of grumpy old men. Luckily, men now have treatment options that can help them regain their youthful vitality.
Men’s testosterone levels start to decline around 30, and by their 40s, men have lost almost half of their prime hormone levels. Hormone treatments are a safe option to help middle-aged men raise their testosterone levels. If you suffer from low testosterone, Vitality Wellness Group age management practice can assist you. Vitality Wellness Group can help you recover the physique, sex drive, and mental acuity of a younger man.
Growth Hormone, Human growth hormone (HGH), often known as just growth hormone (GH), is a peptide hormone produced by the pituitary gland at the base of the brain. GH helps balance all other hormones so there isn’t an area of your health it doesn’t touch.
A healthy supply of GH keeps you healthy psychologically it maintains your sense of well-being, keeping you happy, engaged, and able to handle stress and physically, keeping your heart healthy, your cholesterol levels down, inflammation down, bones solid. It even boosts your body’s ability to heal faster, helps maintain muscle mass, shed belly fat, synthesize amino acids, and metabolize fat and protein. GH stimulates the release of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), the main driver of tissue growth. Together, these help you build more muscle and burn more fat. At Vitality Wellness Group we use Sermorelin, which is a bio-identical hormone that has recently been genetically engineered to stimulate the secretion of Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone.
Thyroid hormones are made by the thyroid gland. The thyroid gland makes and releases two thyroid hormones: thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). Thyroid hormones affect every cell and all the organs of the body. Too much thyroid hormone speeds things up (hyperthyroidism) and too little thyroid hormone slows things down (hypothyroidism). Your thyroid is what controls the rate at which your body burns calories (your metabolism). This affects whether you gain or lose weight.
  • Can slow down or speed up your heartbeat.*
  • Can raise or lower your body temperature.*
  • Change how fast food moves through your digestive tract.*
  • Affect muscle strength.*
  • Control how quickly your body replaces dying cells.*
At Vitality Wellness Group we will run a full Thyroid Panel for our patients and after the labs have been reviewed the proper medications will be prescribed accordingly.
Luteinizing hormone (LH) is produced and released in the anterior pituitary gland. This hormone is considered a gonadotrophic hormone because of its role in controlling the function of ovaries in females and testes in males, which are known as the gonads.
Luteinizing hormone is responsible for different functions in men and women. For men, luteinizing hormone stimulates the production of testosterone from Leydig cells in the testes. Testosterone, in turn, stimulates sperm production and helps accentuate male characteristic, like a deep voice or growth of facial hair.
For women, the hormone stimulates the ovaries to produce estradiol. Two weeks into a woman's cycle, a surge in luteinizing hormone causes the ovaries to release an egg during ovulation. If fertilization occurs, luteinizing hormone will stimulate the corpus luteum, producing progesterone to sustain the pregnancy. Low levels of luteinizing hormone can also cause infertility, because insufficient levels will limit the production of sperm or the ovulation process.
